I’ve tried to avoid third party email providers for the longest time. I figured if you and I were already in touch and corresponding, well it shouldn’t be hard to maintain that relationship. 1800 plus people later I’m finally throwing in the towel, or the banana.

Luckily I heard about Unlike other email marketing or CRM programs that help you manage your relationships, this one is about as simple as it gets – and it’s free. I’ll also put it this way…. Just as I don’t mind giving Google the extra $5 a year for more space on their picasaweb photo sharing site, I won’t mind paying some extra bucks for more emails to go out the door to people who read them.

And now I’m feeling restored as I’m writing and involved in a performance again. The home for the new production is which lets us get out all the info about the show quickly and easily and supported on the “other side” (non-social media) by mail chimp.

Two tools that should enable us to easily sell out the 4 shows in April.
