Imagine you’re sitting on your couch and you see something cool on a television show you’re watching and all you have to do is take a picture of your television set to get all this extra information about that show without having to get up and log onto your computer – or even having to open up your phone’s browser.

Just turn on the TvTak App, let the App hone in on the picture tube and when it has zeroed in, take a picture. You will get all sorts of valued added content including additional content, special offers, social media integration and more. And you’re basically loafing on your couch. Sounds too easy and/or too good to be true right?

Well I’m here to tell you it’s a reality.

So many of the newest technologies and platforms I find out about or am exposed to because I read about it in a LinkedIn Group or come across it at a trade show like CTIA. However, for the first time in a long while I was exposed to something truly (I believe) revolutionary and I was able to see it up close – while it is still very much unknown here in the United States.

I have written several posts on social television, interactive television, Google TV, IPTV (see previous posts), and it’s all coming about. There are two groups on LinkedIn that I will mention again – Social TV the Next Generation and Digital Media Content Distribution. If you want to see what’s coming along – join these groups.

In the meantime – check these guys out, TvTak.
