At 26 you are over-the-hill and ready for the reality tv circuit. Hopefully not the apprentice, biggest loser or celebrity rehab, but done nevertheless as you make way for the new blood. While the Who’s Superbowl appearance was borderline embarrassing, let’s face it, there will be another Who, Clash or even Cheap Trick. Note, Zeppelin is in a class by itself.

The trend started with the Police, followed quickly by U2 but the last band (and I emphasize the term as in Group), was Nirvana.

Now Michelle Branch (I don’t know why I’m so hung up on her but I’m even reading the Wiki), was 11 when poor Kurt blew his own head off.

And then, I think (and I can’t believe I’m actually going to say this), with the exception of Rap, the music died.

What we got was Nickelodian Rock and it won’t be long before we’re listening to Rockers who haven’t popped their first zit or had their first wet dream telling the rest of us about unrequited romance.

No one of course will buy it, maybe fileshare it, but when that bank or car commercial comes on, theyl’ll get you, and eventually your money!
