I was on the VIP list for Kevin Leong’s fashion show at the Samsung Experience in which he debuted his Origami Line. The line is made from TYVEK and it was definitely interesting. Very futuristic and I can see all the kids wearing it.

There were lots of celebrities there and I bumped into a few people I hadn’t seen for a long time (from my studio days at Intensive Sound when everyone knew me as Brian Boffo), But what really impressed me was the overall production of the event itself.

BRAVO MEDIA were the digital event strategists called in to do what is called projection mapping. What that is, is taking text, images and video and projecting them on blank surfaces such as canvases, foam cubes, even transparent surfaces. They can be flat, curved, even spherical. The more three-dimensional you want your projections to be, the higher the level of expertise is required.

There are certainly some rudimentary programs and means of cobbling together some basic mapping, that you could do say on your roof at a party. But when it comes to the big stage and when the world is watching, you have to call on the experts. And that means Bravo Media.

If you would like to know more about what Bravo Media can do to take your event to the next level, please email me at

Take a look at this clip from Wednesday night’s show.
