Z02 COMING TO GCMP.TV?

Met these guys on the red carpet at Fashion and Football event at Club Quo last month. They were very personal and one thing led to another and now we’re talking. Check out their website at www.Z02.com. One great song after another. They had an audience over a million strong on IFC with their TV show, are friends with some of the biggest names in rock, are gig monsters.

Listen to these songs. My god, monster hooks, the singer Paulie Z has a David Lee Roth voice, the band’s sound is well produced and tight. They’ve also got that “IT” factor. Sift through the videos on YouTube and revel in the fact that you’re among the first that are in on the secret.

Sooooo…. it’s only natural that GCMP Television try and hook up with Z02. Spoke to them today on their way to a gig in Springfield Virginia. We were passing back and forth ideas for some original shows including stuff shot on the road or at venues to cooking with the Rockers in GCMP’s hi-tech production and post facility located in midtown Manhattan. We’ve started webcasting on our channels but that’s still under wraps – I couldn’t resist dropping a hint though.

Ones that leverage the power of mobile, have an interactive component and leverage the viral medium on mass. Paulie was hot for the mobile video and mobile marketing ideas. Anything mobile marketing related is possible because of GCMP’s partnership with iProgram.tv, one of New York City’s premiere mobile marketing agencies.

I told them to grab as much footage as they can. We talked about 3 minute clips about everything from where to pull over on the side of the road to take a whiz to making a selection from the fast food menu at a truck stop. It can get pretty interesting on the road and often the most mundane things get pretty hilarious.

GCMP Television has recently added foreign mobile and VOD distribution to its New York based Media Relations and Broadcast PR offerings. So the content play is a natural step – one growing out of a marked success at working with celebrities and brands alike.
