THERE’S NO TECHNOLOGY FOR SORROW OR VOLCANIC ASH

April 16th, 2010 · No Comments · Uncategorized

My cat died today. And there was nothing I could do about it. I am in Las Vegas and my friend Rafael who’d been taking care of her, along with his girlfriend Mary Beth, had to deal with seeing her to sleep.

My Cat Died Today

At the same time this Volcanic Ash that’s spreading over Europe has most likely derailed my sister’s trip from Paris to visit my mom in Florida who’s been looking forward to seeing her, my brother-in-law and nephews for a year. Just certain things…. you can’t do anything about – and you’re helpless.

All in all it was a very successful 3 days that flew by while I was in Las Vegas. Met some pretty important people including executives at broadcast and mobile networks, foreign broadcasters and film commissions, it was endless. But I have an empty feeling inside. I thought my cat would make it another few years. 16 is very good though. She was the runt in the litter, and she has an enlarged heart.

The cat who loved too much. I love you Babybop – I hope you are loving where you are now… in cat heaven, where your food bowl is always full.
