Sunday Night is Facebook Night

Sunday Night is Facebook Night

Sunday night is for Facebook.

An old girlfriend from Buenos Aires. Kids I went to elementary school with. Guys I shared a dorm with. Girls who helped out on shoots. My friends son and web genius in Seattle. A client up in Westchester. A choreographer in South Jersey. A former lead singer from a band I played in up in Buffalo.

Yes, Sunday Night is for Facebook. I love the new timeline format because I can see who’s online and drop in on them. It’s also cool because I have 3000 friends and acquaintances and this way I get to chat with them all at one time or another.

Rapid fire one after the next and before I’m done there will be all kinds of new discussions and possibilities.

Yes, thank God for FaceBook Night.

I don’t get to spend a lot of time on Facebook anymore. About the only thing I do is photo-sharing. But on Sunday, with 60 Minutes on in the background (80 percent of people are interacting on the web while watching television), I get to catch up on my Facebooking.

Sunday Night = Facebook Night.

Also updated my linkedin, sent some messages – maybe Sunday Night should be called social media night. By the end of Facebook Night, I will have touched base with dozens of friends and acquaintances that I haven’t seen or spoken to in while. Right now I have over a dozen chat windows open, it’s great because we can all connect even if just for a bit.

Yes, Sunday Night is Facebook night.
