Maybe I’m just a dying a breed.

I’m the kind of person that will pull in next to a hydrant rather than double park. Or I will pull in close to a parked car if I have to double park. I try not to beep my horn and I try and drive 30 miles an hour in the city rather than 40 because of the ad campaign (at 30 a human being is still alive, at 40 they’re not).

I’m fortunate and unfortunate though when it comes to parking in my neighborhood. I live among people who love to take up two parking spots. Instead of making room and being neighborly whereby which others would likewise be courteous, in my part of Brooklyn – not so. It’s so aggravating. I wonder what makes people do things like that.

It takes so little effort to pull up just a little so that someone else can park there car close to home instead of having to walk an extra block, perhaps late at night.

But we don’t have to take it anymore. Websites are cropping up all over to help combat the scourge of people who park like assholes. In fact there’s a website called (you guessed it)

Go there now!
