KVETCH, KVETCHER, KVETCHING

Kids are the best. There’s no doubt they are the most delicious and entertaining at the Toddler age.

But

When they Kvetch and whine…. OMG…

In Georgian they call a little whiner “TsuTsuna”. And I’ve been using that word a lot on my daughter lately since she’s getting a little too comfortable about crying when she doesn’t get what she wants.

As a daddy, I hate to see her cry. But I can’t let her have candy, or watch Nick Junior all the time. Even Jake and the Neverland Pirates need a break.

I wondered what the origins of the word Kvetch were. According to Webster’s it’s:

“To complain persistently and whiningly”. Whiningly…. Tsutsuna.

My little Kvetcher. Glad it’s just a phase…. I hope.
