BEST BUY AND CHILI’S – CAN THEY DO THAT? YES THEY CAN – YOU’RE FIRED!!!

STUPID REASONS FOR GETTING FIRED – PART II

Not too long ago I posted on what I (and many others) believed to be an utterly ridiculous reason for getting fired (see previous post – chilis-logic-is-hard-to-swallow).

Well it seems the front man lead singer from Orlando Based East Side Rock may be gaining a bit of notoriety for being the Singer who couldn’t keep his pants up! I know that doesn’t sound right. But now The Takeaway, a co-production of WNYC Radio and Public Radio International, in collaboration with The BBC World Service, New York Times Radio and WGBH Boston with John Hockenberry – has come a callin because of THIS BLOG.

Also on the show is the famous Brian Maupin who made the notorious iPhone vs. EVO video which went viral on YouTube. Bottom line – if your product stinks, and people get tired of getting ripped off – eventually the word will spread. If you have the Truth on your side – and you keep coming, you will eventually prevail – and that’s what we as consumers need to do.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, BLOG BLOG BLOG. Have an opinion – say something. You never know someone just might hear you. Go through my pages. I’ve blogged almost everyday for a year.

When Russia invaded Georgia (see that flag in my header image?) I went to the UN with “CHEMS MEGOBREBS KARTULS (I hope that’s right – my Georgian Friends), and protested – even being interviewed for Georgian Television. Come to think of it I’ve been on Japanese Television (about the anniversary of Hiroshima), The news in Madrid (about Mobile Video), WABC in New York with Curtis Sliwa and many others including radio interviews on different subjects.

Best Buy I was surprised to learn had an equally stupid reason for firing Brian Maupin for exercising his first amendment rights. He made a YouTube video about how crappy the iPhone is. You can see it on techcrunch by clicking this link.

Perhaps never has the consumer’s voice been heard more since 2008 and the light that was shined once all the thieving that was going on. I saw a report about how slow they’re predicting Christmas Sales to be. Person after person when interviewed says that they’re not going to be spending. That jives with what I’ve been hearing so no amount of spin will change the reality.

Needless to say – Best Buy will never get my business again. In fact – come to think of it they’re the ones who sold me my original crappy iPhone in Boynton Beach!
