April 26th, 2010 · No Comments · Social Commentary

It’s Earth Day, which means that the hot topic on everyone’s minds is the environment. Eco-friendly efforts are always of utmost importance, so we should really make an effort to celebrate Earth Day every day. But for right now, we’re looking to start the party with what we’re wearing.

But at what price? $165 for an Organic Scoop Pullover Sweater, $165. Beklina.

Fashion labels from all around have started to endorse fair trade practices, less emissions from factories, natural fabrics, and low-impact dyes so that the production of the clothes does minimal damage to the environment. By buying and wearing their clothes, you’re supporting an effort for a greener earth!

But at what price. OMG. Get the Hemp!!! At least you can smoke that or have an excuse when someone asks you how much you paid for your eco-couture wardrobe!

Here’s a clip from ABC.
