TWO GREAT SHOWS IN SAN ANTONIO AND SAN FRANCISCO ON SUNDAY OCTOBER 17

October 16th, 2010 · No Comments · Media

The great thing about meeting people on the web using the social networks is that – sometimes they may be hip to stuff that you’re not. In this case – I’m letting all my friends on FB, LinkedIn and Twitter that I can know about two shows; one in San Antonio and one in San Francisco.

The first is David Krakauer who is performing with his Acoustic Klezmer Quartet at the Barshop Jewish Community Center in San Antonio. David Krakauer you may know from being one of the principals in Abraham Inc. (and for making an appearance in the Socalled Movie just recently released). He is a master of classical clarinet as well as expert in Eastern European Jewish klezmer music and avant garde improvisation. The event may be sold out as I went to the event page and the link was taken down. Tickets are only $20 (Children ages 12 & under are free which is a GREAT DEAL) and you should call (210) 302-6828.

Google David Krakauer under Google Video and you’ll see what I’m talking about and if you’re in San Antonio – get yourself to this amazing show.
